Everything since 0.2.2. The short version: trainer battles now show the enemy's exact stats, the damage numbers account for badges, screens and abilities, and the mod keeps a ledger of your own Pokémon.
Exact enemy stats
- Trainer battles show the enemy's exact stats. Every trainer's Pokémon is generated by the game from a fixed table, so its IVs and nature are knowable rather than a range.
- Where two trainers genuinely collide the mod says so instead of guessing, and a trainer's fallen Pokémon narrow which of two identical twins the survivor is.
- Fixed: a send-out counted more than once, which read the table at the wrong party slot.
- Fixed: male and female SWIMMERs (and every gendered trainer class) were treated as the same trainer.
Damage, catch odds and the FIGHT menu
- The FIGHT menu is annotated: every move gets a damage band, KO odds and hit chance, computed with the game's own arithmetic rather than an approximation.
- Gym badges are applied — and it asks which ones you hold, not how many. Boulder boosts Attack, Soul Defence, Volcano both special stats, and Thunder is +10% Speed at turn order, which decides who moves first.
- REFLECT and LIGHT SCREEN are read and subtracted. They halve what the other side deals and nothing on the HP box says so, which is how a "certain" KO used to hit and leave the target standing.
- Abilities that change damage are applied — THICK FAT (DEWGONG, and any SNORLAX that has it) halves Fire and Ice attacks, plus GUTS, HUGE POWER, PURE POWER, HUSTLE and MARVEL SCALE.
- Once the ledger knows one of your stats, the panel shows the number instead of a range, and the damage numbers use it.
- Multi-hit moves get KO odds over the whole turn, and a move that can only kill on a critical hit says so rather than showing an impossible-looking chance.
- Low Kick's power is computed from the target's real weight.
- The catch strip stops rounding 99.9% up to 100%.
- Transform is followed: a Ditto that copied your Raichu is shown as what it turned into.
Your Pokémon
- A ledger of your own Pokémon: one entry per individual, learned from battles and summary screens, with its stats at every level it has been seen at.
- A "Your Pokémon" window listing them, with a card for editing an entry the reader got wrong.
- A nicknamed Pokémon finally gets a panel — it asks which species it is, once, and remembers.
- Each entry carries its ability.
- New: erase this save's data, at the bottom of Your Pokémon. Two presses, and the prompt names exactly what would go — for starting a new playthrough without the old one's records haunting it. Your panel positions and dex preferences are kept.
Double battles and the Safari Zone
- Double battles work: all four Pokémon are read, each gets a panel, and damage is worked out against each enemy separately.
- The Safari Zone knows what to throw: bait, rock or ball, with the odds for each.
Pokédex
- A Pokédex checklist in the mod's settings, in dex order, switchable between Kanto and National.
- Hovering a row answers "where do I find this", with the best odds first.
- Evolving a Pokémon marks it caught, and the dex can be unpinned so it steps aside with the overlay.
- Fixed: MR. MIME had no panel, no catch rate and no caught mark, ever.
Reading the game
- The reader knows which situation the game is in — overworld, wild battle, trainer battle, Safari — instead of guessing from what is on screen.
- Locations are read from the screens that announce them, so the route panel follows you.
- A revived fossil is noticed and recorded, though it is never battled or caught.
- The picture tracker was rebuilt around what the canvas can actually be, and re-locks by itself after a lockscreen.
- Gender is settled from the species where only one is possible, and read reliably where it is not.
- Fixed: names whose letters touch, names with one unreadable letter, and evolutions that registered the wrong species.
- Fixed: the Sevii Islands' outdoor areas claimed there were no wild Pokémon.
- Fixed: the status pill could invent a paralysis from the HP box bobbing.
- Fixed: the FIGHT menu's borders and hover panel blinked at the read rate.
Panels
- The windows can be dragged anywhere, and stay where you put them across restarts.
- Each panel can be switched on or off on its own.
- Type names draw in their own colours, and a species name underlines under the pointer — clicking it opens its wiki page.
- Stat changes reset when any battle ends, rather than on a timer.
Also included: an emulator's window can be read as the picture instead of a capture card. That one needs a newer version of the app than is currently published.
