Touching Grass Simulator - Content Terms
These are the terms for making things with Touching Grass Simulator, written by its developer, Maffin e.U., in plain words on purpose. They are meant to be read in one minute and to leave no question open.
What you may do
Anything you make using the game is yours, and you may earn money with it. That includes, without needing to ask first:
- Videos, Let's Plays, streams and clips, monetized or not, on any platform.
- Screenshots, thumbnails, reviews, guides and articles.
- Edits, montages, memes and anything else built from footage or images of the game.
The game's music is the FREE Music Loop Bundle by Tallbeard Studios, released under CC0 1.0, so it is safe to leave in your recordings. The other third-party parts of the game and their licences are listed on the in-game Credits & Licenses screen.
The one thing we ask
Credit the game by linking its Steam store page wherever you publish:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1744930
What you may not do
Do not reupload or redistribute the game itself: the executable, and the code, content and packaging that Maffin e.U. made, in whole or in part, repackaged or not. That part of the game is not public domain, and what is not expressly allowed here stays with Maffin e.U.
This restriction covers only what is Maffin e.U.'s to restrict. The third-party pieces inside the game - the models, animations, music, fonts and libraries named on the Credits & Licenses screen - belong to their own creators, under their own licences, and these terms cannot and do not change that. A CC0 asset, for example, remains free to take from its original source no matter whose game it also appears in.
Plain words from the developer, not a lawyer. If you want to do something these terms do not clearly cover, ask through the Steam page above.
